Kanye West really loves the Deadpool movies. The Merc with the Mouth returned for a sequel last month that smashed the box-office and reasserted Ryan Reynolds as the king of adult humor and gory sarcasm. Although West is in the middle of working on Nas' album, which will be the fourth project he has produced in just as many weeks, he found time to watch Reynolds' superhero sequel.
Using his favorite form of communication, West hopped on Twitter to reveal that he believes Deadpool 2 features music that sounds like his own. "I love both Deadpool movies??????????????????… I heard tracks in it that sound similar to mine… bro I would have cleared my music for Deadpool," he wrote. Perhaps 'Ye is letting people know that he wants to hop on the next soundtrack. He continued by tweeting, "your guys writing and approach is so innovative … I love how you guys break the 4th wall… thank you for being innovative and please know I’m down to clear next time."
Reynolds responded to West in a tweet that feels like a classic sarcastic Deadpool reaction. "Agree. I’m having a word with Celine Dion," Reynolds tweeted, referencing the title track for the movie's soundtrack, which is performed by Dion.
